Did you know...

When you pay for a 60 minute massage from a major massage chain you often only get 50 minutes hands on.

At Alleviate you get top massage therapists and the entire hour you pay for. Your time is as important to us as it is to you.

Alleviate is specifically designed for your benefit

Our Massages

Trigger Point

Trigger Point Therapy is a technique in which trigger points are located and worked on to reduce the pain and "deactivate" the point. This technique is sometimes also called Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy. (Myo means muscle tissue, and fascia is the connective tissue in and around it.)

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue Massage is aimed at the deeper muscle fibers and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep Tissue Massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish Massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or "knots" (also known as "adhesions.")

Swedish

Swedish aka Relaxation Massage is the most common and best-known type of massage in the West. It's the foundation for other types of Western Massage, including Sports Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Aromatherapy Massage, and is based on the Western concepts of anatomy and physiology.

Prenatal

Prenatal Massage, also known as Pregnancy Massage, promotes relaxation, soothes nerves, and relieves strained back and leg muscles in expectant mothers. Prenatal Massage is especially beneficial in the second and third trimesters, when the extra weight in your belly puts a strain on your back.

Hot Stone

Hot Stone Massage is a specialty massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.

Couples

Couples Massage is a popular service at the studio where two people are massaged in the same room, at the same time, by two different therapists. The couple can be a husband and wife, girlfriend and boyfriend, same-sex partners, moms and daughters, or best friends. It is sometimes also called a duo massage or duet massage.
